Bicknell Lodge #94 F&AM

Well, I finally made the decision to change a few things and open my schedule up so I can attend the local Lodge, among other things.  I have to say, this may have been the shortest distance I have traveled to visit a Lodge (less than a mile), but there was certainly no shortage of Brotherhood.

Now, I will say, I come from AF&AM and this was F&AM.  My, oh my, are there some differences!  I won’t get into the details for obvious reasons, but I was very impressed and actually think I liked certain parts better than back home.  Hmm… interesting, home.  I haven’t been to my home Lodge in some years.  I have a life membership back at A.O. Fay, but I do believe I will be “petitioning” here at Bicknell Lodge for a dual membership.  These Brother’s have a beautiful Lodge with many interesting pieces.  They are also very interested in the esoteric educational revival that is sweeping through “this thing of ours”.

One thing that happened during the Stated Communication was VERY special and I could not have been happier to of been there.  Brother Timm, received his honors for 50 years in the S.R. & Shrine.  And what made it even more special was having the Potentate of the Zor Shrine on hand to help with the presentation.

One of the coolest things that I have seen in a Lodge room, real candles.  Talk about impressive!

I think I am going to like it here.  At my new home.
